Campus Firewall

Subiaco campus has a firewall in place to filter content. This firewall will behave differently depending on what network you are connected to.

Here is a list of networks and the expected behavior:

Subiaco's main network and wifi (Subiaco), Dorms - General policy that blocks the bad stuff
Open wifi in academic buildings - Blocks all the bad stuff but includes gaming, video sites and other distracting things students should not be using in class.
Monks - things blocked according to monastic rules

If you find something blocked that shouldn't be please let the IT Center know. All windows computers on campus should have a special certificate installed that will allow you to see a report form if a site is blocked. If you fill that out it will open a support ticket. Otherwise please email support@subi.org and let me know what's being blocked and why you need access to it.
